Are there any negative effects of using an air purifier?Updated 7 months ago

The possible negative effects of using an air purifier include ozone emission from certain products. Some individuals with ozone sensitivity may experience side effects. The level of ozone that is deemed safe by the EPA and other safety standards is 0.05 PPM. Otherwise, there are no negative side effects to using an air purifier. You can usually determine if an air purifier produces ozone by looking at the product specifications. The amount of ozone produced should be listed. If the air purifier is listed as CARB compliant or has passed UL 867 safety standards, then it will not produce ozone.
