Why is my Air Quality Sensor displaying a sad face?Updated 20 days ago
The sensor is designed to continually monitor your indoor air quality. Many factors or events in your home could possibly trigger an increase in airborne particles. When this happens the sensor will display an orange or red face. Once your air quality improves the display should return to the green smiley face. If the sensor display remains orange or red for a prolonged period of time (days without change) please be patient. On occasion, due to a buildup of debris, the air quality sensor can begin to show a false positive result (orange or red face) when the air quality is still good, but should eventually recalibrate itself and return to green. Another troubleshooting option is to spray compressed air in the holes for the sensor or wipe down the sensor with a damp towel to fix this issue. The sensor is located to the right of the brain icon on the top of the unit.
