Yes, Our air purifiers have been third-party tested for safety by either UL or Intertek Labs. While direct exposure to UVC can cause damage to skin and eyes, extensive testing has been performed to ensure potentially harmful levels of UVC rays do not escape the purifiers. UVC is an invisible light that decreases in intensity at variable distances. The blue glow you see is simply used as a power indicator for safety precaution to alert people when the light is illuminated. The blue light is harmless.
